The taste of basil pesto “alla Genovese” is a perfect combination with bronze-drawn linguine. The result is a unique and tasty meal that is especially extremely easy to prepare.

The ingredients are all packaged in one packet, and you won't need to add any ingredients other than the evo oil and, if you prefer, grated Parmesan cheese.

This recipe is suitable for everyone, including vegans, in fact it does not contain any animal derivatives, even cheese.

PREPARATION: in a frying pan or nonstick pot, bring to boil 700ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Pour into the pot the packet ingredients, cover it and cook over a medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Take the lid off the pot, then continue to cook for 2 minutes or more until the water is almost completely absorbed and the sauce is creamy. Season to taste with salt, add extra virgin olive oil, and let stand 1 minute before serving.

TIPS: use extra virgin olive oil to season and Parmesan cheese before serving.

WINE-PAIRING: medium-bodied rosé wines.

INGREDIENTS: pasta (durum wheat semolina, water) 88%, rice flour, basil 2.5%, salt, almonds, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts. It may contain traces of gluten, almonds, hazelnuts, celery, tuna, mustard, cuttlefish, eggs. No added glutamate, chemical ingredients or animal derivatives.
