Italian brown lentils - 17.6oz
The lentil, for its protein content, can represent a valid alternative to meat and fish. Lentils, like all legumes, can be consumed preferably once or twice a week, served with whole grain cereal or pasta.
Characteristics: smaller size and softer dough are ideal mainly for soups and side dishes.
Suggestions: brown lentils are ideal for a single dish if served with equal amounts of rice or pasta but can also be used in the preparation of soups to be served with garlic croutons, here is the recipe for a vegetarian lentil soup but first remember to wash and select them to avoid a pebble ending up in your dish!
