Italian "Fagiolata", mixed premium beans soup - 17.6oz
Fagiolata is a delicious Italian dish made with a mix of the world's finest beans in a unique recipe.
The beans are carefully selected for their premium quality and for their unique flavor profiles. The mix includes many varieties from all around the world, like borlotti beans, cannellini beans, black beans etc.
Italian "Fagiolata" beans soup
1 and 1/2 cups of onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 (or more) tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
2 teaspoons of fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Begin by soaking the beans in cold water overnight. Drain and rinse the beans. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is soft and translucent. Add the tomato paste, oregano and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the beans and enough water to cover them. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the beans are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle with spicy olive oil, freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with a side of crusty bread.
