PREPARATION: Bring to a boil 600ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons oil in a non-stick pot or pan. Pour the contents of the package, cover and cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.
Add more water if required. Remove the lid and continue to cook for 2 minutes or more UNTIL THE WATER IS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABSORBED AND THE SAUCE IS CREAMY. Add salt and extra virgin olive oil and let it rest for 1 minute before serving.
SUGGESTIONS: add 1/4 glass of white wine into the boiling water.
WINE PAIRING: red wines.
