DESCRIPTION

For a long time, the orecchiette pasta has been the culinary symbol of Apulia and particularly of the southern Italian city of Bari, our city. Thus, we could not ignore the recipe with which the orecchiette are usually prepared in the thousand-year old tradition of our cuisine, that is the "Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe".

Orecchiette with broccoli rabe is a traditional Apulian dish that is simply delicious and very easy to prepare.

It contains only 100% natural ingredients and can be cooked in three simple steps.

Indeed, this one-pot pack contains all the ingredients you need to prepare a typical Apulian-style orecchiette dish. The package includes orecchiette made with durum wheat semolina, Italian broccoli and a blend of garlic and herbs. All the ingredients are 100% natural with no artificial flavors or preservatives.

PREPARATIONin a frying pan or nonstick pot, bring to boil 650ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Put into the pot the packet ingredients, cover and cook over a medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Take the lid off the pot, then continue to cook for 2 minutes or more until the water is almost completely absorbed and the sauce is creamy. Season to taste with salt, add extra virgin olive oil, and let stand 1 minute before serving.

TIPS: Add 1/4 glass of white wine to the boiling water. Add 50g of toasted or fried bread cubes before serving. Serve with extra virgin olive oil.

WINE-PAIRING: light-bodied white wines.
