"Crapiata", legume soup typical of the Lucanian tradition
A practical meal that is both tasty and healthy
Soup “Crapiata” is not only a delicious and nutritious dish, but also a proof of the rich culinary heritage of the Basilicata region, as it reflects the flavors and traditions of this wonderful place. It is a soup of legumes of the peasant tradition, prepared with spelt, beans, broad beans, potatoes and peas.

All you have to do is open the packet to find everything you need: a perfect balance of legumes and grains, carefully selected to provide the highest quality. Each spoonful is a journey into traditional flavors, with an enveloping aroma permeating your home.
Soup very easy to prepare as well as rich in history
1) Bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
2) Pour the contents of the packet into the pot, cover it with a lid and cook on low heat for 60 minutes or more.
3) Serve with extra virgin olive oil and fresh chopped parsley.

I purchased three soups from Tiberino. The Crapiata was the first one I've tried so far and I can tell you it's delicious! I'm happy this soup allows you to decide how much salt or other flavorings you want to use. I used the suggested 2 tbsp. of olive oil and parmesan cheese. I'm sure I'll buy this soup again!
