DESCRIPTION

A dish that celebrates Apulian tradition with a plant-based twist. Orecchiette, the typical shell-shaped pasta, are combined with a rich ragù made from carefully selected plant ingredients. A recipe that brings the passion and history of Southern Italian cuisine to your table, 100% natural and delicious.

PREPARATION

1) Bring 750 ml of water to the boil with 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2) Pour the contents of the bag, cover, and cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Remove the lid and continue cooking for 2 minutes or more until the water is almost completely absorbed and the sauce is creamy.
3) Season with salt, add extra virgin olive oil and let rest for 1 minute before serving

TIPS

Add 1/4 cup of white wine to the water. Serve with plenty of pecorino romano and black pepper.

This pasta is flavorful and so easy to make. A winner!

Instructions were vague but any average person with any cooking skills that makes a foreign dish can easily compensate and adjust water levels. I used 3 cups of water and did a slow simmer and stir. The excess water evaporates and thickens while resting just like any dish. This turned out amazing full of flavor and texture which the whole family loved. Definite addition to our lineup. Having doubts? Don’t hesitate, I will purchase again and again.

Tastes quite good, but instructions aren't anywhere near correct. Took more than 2x as long to cook, and still far too much water remains, it's nowhere near a bolognese.
