DESCRIPTION
Fusilli pasta originated in central-northern Italy, and they owe their name to the spindle, around which wool was wound.
They are characterized by their spiral shape, with three twisted strands that chase each other harmoniously, capturing every type of sauce.
With Fusilli, you can't go wrong: they enhance both elaborate and dense sauces as well as simple and delicate ones, always guaranteeing an excellent dish even when dressed with just a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and grated Parmesan cheese.
The intense aroma of the grains will be released during cooking, making you fall in love with this pasta shape.
Fusilli are perfect for rich meat or ricotta-based sauces, but they also reveal their versatile personality in the freshness of pasta salads: minced vegetables, spices, and tuna slip between their spirals, harmoniously accompanied by the velvety notes of Pugliese olive oil added raw.
