The pasta with tomato sauce and basil is a great classic of the Italian cuisine. It is a perfect pasta recipe that is suitable for all palates, including those of the little ones.

The only thing you have to do with linguine “Sorrento” is to pour the contents of the packet into a pot of boiling water and cook without draining.

The condiment, made with only 100% natural ingredients, is included inside the packet and allows you to prepare a delicious gourmet first course in just a few minutes without draining.

PREPARATION: in a frying pan or nonstick pot, bring to boil 700ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Put into the pot the packet ingredients, cover and cook over a medium-low heat for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Take the lid off the pot, then continue to cook for 2 minutes or more until the water is almost completely absorbed and the sauce is creamy. Season to taste with salt, add extra virgin olive oil, and let stand 1 minute before serving.

TIPS: add 1/4 glass of white wine to boiling water.  When cooking, add 4 fillets of anchovies and before serving a diced mozzarella.

WINE-PAIRING: medium-bodied red wines.
