DESCRIPTION
Couscous is a very versatile ingredient as it can be easily combined with many ingredients, with sweet and savory, as a main course or as a side dish. In this version, couscous becomes a very precious dish, enriched by the precious Saffron, excellent as it is or also as a side dish for refined dishes, preferably meat-based.
Preparation : bring 1/2 litre of water to the boil with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, add the contents of the sachet, cover, turn off the heat and leave to rest for 9 minutes.
Tips : Dissolve saffron in 1 tablespoon of warm water and add just before serving. Add 3/4 teaspoon of bitter cocoa just before serving.
Pairing : Frascati Spumante DOC or light white wine
Ingredients : couscous, original Sardinian saffron pistils, vegetables, aromatic herbs, salt.
